Welcome to GEOWEEK2022

GEOWEEK2022 will be held from 28th November - 3rd December, 2022
at the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, Belihuloya, Sri Lanka.

The main purpose of GEOWEEK2022 is to strengthen the relationship between the industry and the academia in Geospatial Science and its practical applications. Apart from that, the event focuses onstimulating research in the discipline of Geospatial Science and promotingscientific exchange among researchers and scholars. GEOWEEK2022 leads various open discussion forums, round table discussions, trade exhibitions related to the Geospatial industry, several technical sessions with invited speakers, industry experts and workshops.
The natal of the GEOWEEK dates back to 27th November 2021 as it was the emblem to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of the Faculty of Geomatics, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. The legacy continues as an annual event of the calendar of the Faculty of Geomatics.

It is with great pride and pleasure we announce that the Web launch ceremony and the Kick-off meeting of the GEOWEEK2022 will commence at 11.00 a.m onwards on 22 nd November 2022, in the auditorium, Faculty of Geomatics.
The event will be glamorous with the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, and Chair-GEOWEEK, prestigious academics of the faculty, and the industry leaders of Geo-special sciences.
