Introduction
The event will be covered to share the knowledge and expertise of professionals in various
subjects of Geospatial Science. The main resource provider for the event will be the academics
of the Faculty of Geomatics of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka and it will enable a
sound platform for the school student community to learn and experience difficult concepts in a
simpler and more convenient manner. Further, this will open up doors for the younger generation
to utilize geospatial sciences in practical aspects of life.
Objectives
The main objectives of the webinar series are,
i. To transfer basic concepts and fundamentals of various disciplines of Geospatial Science.
ii. To popularize Geospatial Science concepts and applications among school children.
